Hmmmm, big business and big government….hmmm, works really well. How about this, let’s create a TARP program and let’s use taxpayer money (really we’re just printing it) and let’s pull those ‘toxic assets’ off the bank balance sheets; then let’s create a way to liquidate those assets through chosen Money Managers (aka Hedge Funds, Private Partnerships, and other businesses you and I couldn’t participate in) who can then buy those assets (secretly – private auctions) for pennies on the dollar.
